The Women in Comedy Festival
An Important Message to our Audiences
In comedy, timing is everything. And as much as laughing together can lift the spirits, we have to accept that the time is just not right to hold the 11th annual Women in Comedy Festival this May.
We’ve made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s event due to COVID-19. We will be issuing full refunds to all WICF shows at the Brattle Theatre, as well as our Boston Comedy Chicks April workshop. If you purchased tickets through The Wilbur Theatre, please contact them directly.
Your health and safety are the top priority, and we thank you for your patience and understanding during these extraordinary times. Please stay safe and thank you for your support.

Audiences are hungry to experience and celebrate comedy from different perspectives, and that is where WICF comes in. Our goal is to help close the gender gap in comedy by showcasing women and their allies across all comedic platforms. All of our offerings are open to people of all genders.
WICF features diverse performers, and brings together individuals from all walks of comedy, giving comedy audiences a chance to see work from both local and nationally known comedians, and enabling industry a chance to scout terrific talent.
