April’s show features headliner Selena Coppock (Amazon, VHI, Bravo) up from New York City, along with some of Boston’s best comedians.
Our signature show features top-caliber comedians from Boston and all around the country. One of the most popular shows in Boston, are often sold-out audiences and critics agree this is one of the hottest, dependably funny shows on the scene and is the winner of a 2017 Improper Bostonian Best of Boston award.
Our shows and workshops are held in the intimate, high-energy. 90-seat comedy room at Doyle’s Cafe – 3484 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02130. Bring friends, grab drinks, and enjoy some belly laughs! A different lineup and special guest are invited each month, so you’ll probably want to make this a regular thing.

Selena Coppock is a standup comedian, writer, author, and storyteller based in NYC. She has been called a “dark horse audiences never see coming” by The Village Voice and an “impressive young talent” by the New York Times. Bustle called her one of the 8 Funniest Feminists on Twitter and TheFrisky ranked her one of the 25 Funniest Feminists on Twitter. She is the creator of @NYTVows, the parody Twitter and Instagram account that lampoons the New York Times Wedding section.
Selena was recently seen in the Amazon Prime sitcom RED OAKS and has been seen on Bravo, Lifetime, VH1, CollegeHumor.com, RooftopComedy.com, and elsewhere.
In May 2013, she published her debut book, THE NEW RULES FOR BLONDES (HarperCollins), a collection of personal essays celebrating and subverting the blonde stereotype. Her writing has also been featured on Jezebel, McSweeney’s, Reductress, The Loom, xoJane, Huffington Post, TheFrisky, and she was a creative consultant to TVLand’s Younger.
Her first standup album, Seen Better Days, will be released in late 2017 by Little Lamb Recordings. Look out for it!
